Lama Ghanem

Born in Damascus in 1989 and now based in Linz, Austria, Lama Ghanem is a skilled interior 3D graphic designer, artist, and illustrator. She holds a master’s degree in time-based media from the University for Art and Design Linz.Lama’s artwork delves into political spaces and performativity, using participatory methods to engage audiences. In 2018, she co-founded the art collective Experimental Utopia, which won the esteemed Stadt Der Vielfalt award in 2020. As the curator of Atelier Transpart, a dynamic art gallery in Linz’s Franckviertel district, she fosters creativity and supports transcultural artists.
