transpart – Association for Transnational Participation
The gallery / studio is located on Wimhölzelstraße in Franckviertel, Linz in a former Pixel Hotel, an art project as part of Linz 09. The studio includes a work- and showroom and a fully functional small living unit.
The association was founded in 2016, is based in Linz, and aims to build, support, and facilitate transnational exchange of organizations and initiatives that link political and cultural/artistic content and promote societal participation.
This is to be achieved, among other things, through the implementation of projects, consulting individuals and organizations, as well as through project collaborations with organizations pursuing similar goals.

2021 wurden von der Künstlerin und Kuratorin Lama Ghanem drei Künstlerinnen, mit denen sie bereits einen längeren künstlerischen, sozialen und freundschaftlichen Background teilt, präsentiert. Aufgrund der langjährigen geografischen Trennung, nicht aber der inhaltlichen, künstlerischen und philosophischen, gab es die Möglichkeit, anhand der Ausstellungen konkret in räumlicher Nähe zusammen zu arbeiten und zu leben sowie gemeinsam die Präsentationen zu entwickeln und zu gestalten.
